Angel was rescued from a condo parking lot, lying almost lifeless in a pool of her own blood, with stillborn kittens around her. She was rushed to the vet and found to also have multiple infected abscesses on her limbs. Despite being a full adult, she was only 1.3 kg, which is about the weight of a 10-12 week old kitten. She was also diagnosed with FIP, which is normally a fatal disease. We pooled together generous donations to supply a trial drug, which has worked wonders on her during the 84-day injection period. Now she’s 2.7 kg and about to start her 84-day observation period. She will only be vaccinated and spayed after the 84-day observation period to minimize the level of stress on her body. Hopefully by November 2020, she will be declared officially cured!
